1. Don't flake out.
To prevent dandruff, try massaging your scalp in a circular motion with just the tips of your fingers. If dandruff does occur, try using a medicated shampoo containing pyrithione zinc.
2. Take it to the matte.
To minimize the appearance of thinning hair, get yourself a fresh haircut and use products with a matte finish instead of gel.
3. Go against the graying.
To help fight back gray hair and maintain your youthful good looks, think about adding some color. It can blend the gray without leaving a line of demarcation.
4. Throw in the hot towel.
Be sure to apply a hot towel prior to shaving in order to soften the hair and open the pores. The best way to prevent irritation is to apply lather then shave with the grain (the way the hair grows naturally). To achieve the closest shave possible, lather once again and then shave ACROSS the grain.
